Job Title: Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter
Location: Leicester, UK
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week
Salary - £36k - £40k DOE
Are you a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter with a passion for maintaining and repairing diggers, dumpers, excavators, and other heavy machinery? Do you thrive in a mobile role, working across different sites and environments? If so, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, etc.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving license.
