Electrical Contracts Manager

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join our busy installation / large works department. The ideal candidate will need to be capable of overseeing electrical contracts Nationwide, from tender stage through to final installation. The role will include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of quotations from reviewing, costing and completion in an efficient, profitable and timely manner whilst monitoring expenditure throughout the entirety of the project.
  • Ensure all information for the final account is presented and that it is accurate and on time.
  • To be responsible for the management of the Site Foremen and Site Operatives and to ensure that work undertaken by them is carried out to a satisfactory standard and complies with the company’s contractual obligations, policies, procedures and work instructions and in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Produce site Specific Risk Assessments for individual projects as required.
  • Liaise with the client as appropriate and update drawings and designs as required.
  • Attend contract review meetings, site meetings and surveys with colleagues, customers or their representatives.

Candidates must possess the following:

  • Computer Literacy: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Have good knowledge of the current IEE wiring regulations.
  • Hold appropriate electrician qualifications.
  • Knowledge of electrical installations works.
  • Full driving license.
  • Previous Contract Manager experience – working with projects with a value of approximately 20k-800k in the Hotel, Leisure, Retail and Commercial Industries.

It would be advantageous to have:

  • IOSH for Construction Site Managers.
