Our client, a leading construction company in the water industry, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior QS, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of projects within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the financial aspects of projects within the water industry
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets
- Conducting risk analysis and value engineering assessments
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on financial performance
- Providing accurate and timely financial advice to project teams
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations
- Collaborating with stakeholders and clients to resolve financial issues
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the water industry
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional qualification or membership in quantity surveying
