Our client, a leading construction company in the water industry, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior QS, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of projects within the water sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the financial aspects of projects within the water industry
  • Preparing cost estimates and budgets
  • Conducting risk analysis and value engineering assessments
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting on financial performance
  • Providing accurate and timely financial advice to project teams
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and clients to resolve financial issues


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the water industry
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional qualification or membership in quantity surveying
