Ford & Stanley – Specialists in Digital are recruiting a Software Development Team Lead for an industry-leading automotive specialist who are Europe’s leading automotive locksmith supplier.

The Opportunity

Location:

Nottingham, East Midlands (Hybrid Working – 3 days in office, 2 days at home).

Role and Responsibilities:

• Full stack web development responsibilities for someone passionate about crafting applications and websites to the high standards.
• Creating a harmonious and cohesive set of applications that are a joy for users to use and robust enough for developers to make changes efficiently.
• Incorporating TypeScript into the business’s applications.
• Has at least five years of commercial experience.
• Modernising legacy codebases.

The Candidate

• Can clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Recognises when code abstraction and performance enhancements are required.
• Feels comfortable creating UIs, APIs, and database queries.
• Has a sound understanding of web development fundamentals.
• Values readable, self-documenting code.
