Maintenance Technician

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

• First line response to breakdowns.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair as needed.
• Carry out agreed improvement modifications.
• Keep accurate maintenance records.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement.

Requirements: 

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a time served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship.
• Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and/or extrusion and injection moulding.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• 18th Edition Electrical Installation qualification.
• Servo Drives experience.

The shift pattern will be 4 on, 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights on a rotating basis.
