Systems Accountant - Local Authority - Fully Remote

We have an excellent opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join a Local Authority on a contract basis for 3+ months. As the Systems Accountant, you will be required to assist with Phase 2 of the implementation of Unit 4 ERPx. You will be the main point of contact for the systems administration of the system and assist with the improvements.

Our ideal Systems Accountant will have the following:

• Experience of using Unit 4 ERPx.
• Knowledge and understanding of finance systems in local government.
• Local Authority accounting and finance experience.
• AAT qualified with 3 years post experience.
• Experience of budget monitoring and interpreting and advising on financial data.
• Experience of managing financial ICT/software systems.
• Experience, knowledge and understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements.

Location: Remote, equipment will be provided
Start date: ASAP, 3+ months
Working hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 36.25 hours p/w
Pay rate: £20.22 p/h
