Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Derby
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum
Shift Patterns: Early, Late, Full Day (includes sleep-in duties)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Children’s Residential Support Workers. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people and are seeking a challenging yet rewarding career in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support and care for children within the residential setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to create a safe, nurturing environment that feels like home.
  • Implement care plans and engage in activities that support the development and learning of the children.
  • Participate in a range of shift patterns including:
    • Early Shifts: 07:30 – 15:00
    • Late Shifts: 14:30 – 22:00 or sleep-in
    • Full Day Shifts: 07:30 – 22:00 or sleep-in
  • Ensure all activities are carried out with consideration to the welfare of the children and in compliance with safeguarding protocols.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Possess a full UK manual driving license.
  • Flexibility to work early shifts, late shifts, full days, and some weekends and bank holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to complete full training provided to ensure excellence in care delivery.
