Quality Engineer

Our Client in South Normanton is looking to add to their experienced engineering team and are looking for a Quality engineer to ensure manufactured goods conform to Specification and customer requirements.
Duties will include:
• Ensure purchased goods conform to Specification.
• Drive quality improvements across the organisation.
• Conduct Initial Sample Inspection Reports and support our customers PPAP requirements.
• Carry out routine inspections on manufactured and purchased items
• Create a library of capability data for key components.
• Investigation and resolve non-conformance, contribute to 8D completion.
• Understand statistical tools and how to apply and monitor them.
• Take control of the calibration system requirements.
• Maintain and understand QC KPI data and take action to improve results.
Candidate MUST have experience in the following:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualification / apprenticeship
• Capable of using various measuring equipment ranging from height gauge to programmable CMM.
• Computer literate, Microsoft office
