Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Refrigeration Engineer at our client based in Alfreton. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance of cooling and conditioning systems. The engineer will also provide excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the systems together with an understanding of the relationship between process, and the cooling system. Full technical support for all our engineers is provided in-house, with a vast knowledge base of the systems we maintain, and the processes we serve.Qualifications

• Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance skills
• Experience with Packaged water chillers.
• Experience of Carel/ Dixel controllers
• Experience of CRAC and CMM room conditioning beneficial
• An understanding of "Free Cooling" systems and their integration with a process
• Experience with oil cooling systems beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant Qualifications in refrigeration and HVAC (FGAS Essential)
• Experience in the process cooling industry is a big plus.

Additional Information
The engineer will operate generally within a 30–50-mile radius of the office in Alfreton with a couple of exceptions. Working hours are 08:30 – 17:00 with a 16:00 finish on a Friday. Callout 1 in 4 with currently £100 a week (£1200 per year) standby. O/T is x1.5 Monday to Saturday, x2.0 on a Sunday.
