Owen Daniels Consultancy has engaged with a key client and an established Manufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the Automotive and Construction industries, and high-profile clients. Due to team & project growth an opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join on a permanent basis.
The Maintenance Engineer will be required to ensure there is a smooth operation of the electrical equipment and systems within the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and follow a maintenance plan for the electrical equipment.
- Install, Test, Repair and maintain various electrical components and machines.
- Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations and standards.
- To provide support and solutions to the production team and other departments.
- PLC Fault Finding / Modifications.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical.
- A minimum of 3 years as a maintenance engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
- Strong technical, problem solving and communications skills.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens).
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
- Good understanding of Mechanical Engineering.
