Senior Safety and CDM Consultant

Salary/Rate:
£50,000 - £60,000/annum plus benefits and training

Senior Safety and CDM Consultant required to join a multi-disciplinary, professional services company that manage and deliver construction safety and business safety services to clients across the UK and internationally.

Based in Birmingham, you will join the team to deliver high quality services for government organisations, leading developers, national infrastructure and blue-chip clients. Projects include demolition, education, environmental, highways, inner city builds, power and rail.

Duties

Your duties will include maintaining workload through bidding and proposal writing and overseeing infrastructure projects for both current and prospective clients.

Being responsible for the management and delivery of your project deliverables.

Offering support and contributing ideas to innovative delivery methods

You will work closely with the Birmingham team on projects and delivery as part of the national team.

Qualifications

Ideally hold or be working towards CMIOSH status or equivalent

Ideally hold a degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant Health and Safety or Construction subject

Experience in the following:

Working in a consultancy environment delivering construction and business assurance services.

Working with large scale projects in with experience that could include highways, infrastructure, power, rail and/or water.

Delivering CDM duties as both the Principal Designer and the Client

Delivering audits, inspections and management system reviews.

Assisting with project set up for both new and existing clients.
