Are you an experienced gardener or grounds maintenance operative? Do you excel in transforming landscapes and taking pride in your creative and meticulous work? Chappell Enterprises UK is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our client's grounds department in Battersea, engaging in large and prestigious landscaping projects across zones 1-3 in London.
 

About the Role:
As a member of our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the landscaping work is completed to the highest standards, enhancing the beauty and functionality of various high-profile sites. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact with your expertise, ensuring our projects remain exceptional, sustainable, and beautifully maintained.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain soft landscaping tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with construction team members to support and facilitate site operations.
• Interpret and execute complex landscaping designs from drawings.
• Adhere to stringent health and safety protocols.
• Utilise organisational skills to plan and execute tasks effectively.
• Display flexibility to meet the diverse needs of multiple projects.
• Demonstrate reliability by working consistently under various conditions.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Proven knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental protocols in landscaping.
• Strong understanding of plants and horticultural practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for client and designer interactions.
• Experience with pedestrian mowers and handheld garden tools.
• Enthusiasm for career growth in the landscape industry.

Desirable:

• Experience with irrigation systems and water features.
• Involvement in setting out planting schemes and tree planting.
