Gas Engineer

We require Gas Engineers to start immediately on a large social housing scheme in Kirkby in Ashfield on behalf of the council.
This position is a temporary to permanent role.
The Client
Our client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations and insurance companies.
The Role
Main duties as a Gas Engineer can vary on a day to day basis which consist of -
- Installing warm air heating systems - DAH1
- Other duties may include servicing and breakdowns
- Customer Service skills - resolving any issues that may arise and working with vulnerable tenants
The working hours are 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Gas Engineer
- Gas Safe Registered - Desirable
- Social Housing Experience
- CCNI - Core Domestic Gas Safety
- DAH1 - Domestic Warm Air Heaters
- CENWAT - Domestic Central Heating & Hot Water
- CKR1 - Domestic Gas Cooing Appliances
- HTR1 - Domestic Fan Assisted Flued Gas Fires & Wall Heaters
- CMDDA1 (Carbon Monoxide Testing Training - ideal, but not essential)
- Own Tools
- Own Van
- CSCS/JIB card
- Asbestos Awareness or be willing to take the online test
- Must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before

- The rate of pay is £22-£23 per hour
- 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
