I am working with an excellent Housing Association in the East Midlands who are looking to recruit a Development Officer this is fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is committed to building homes not buildings and has a fantastic reputation in the sector.,

You will be implementing approved development and diversification projects on-site through the administration of construction contracts and development agreements. The position involves managing the delivery team, addressing post-construction defects, and mentoring the Programme Delivery team to deliver high-quality housing that meets evolving customer demands.

This position is ideal for a dedicated professional with a background in housing, construction, or project management, who thrives in a dynamic environment. The role suits individuals who excel in leadership, have a strategic mindset, and possess a strong commitment to delivering quality projects on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Ensure on-site projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards, maximising return on investment.

- Maintain detailed site records and generate necessary plans, ensuring a comprehensive records database.

- Oversee projects and budgets in accordance with financial parameters, ensuring value for money and accurate financial control.

- Manage relationships with solicitors, contractors, consultants, and funders, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

- To help lead and mentor Assistant Programme Delivery Officers and Graduates, fostering their professional growth.

Experience Required

  • Can comfortably manage housing build projects independently
  • To have worked for a Housing association / RP / construction business
