CK Group are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a metals and materials recycling company based near Matlock on a full time, permanent basis.
Location:
This Process Engineer role is located in near Matlock and is easily commutable by road from Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and surrounding areas. Please note the ability to drive with own transport is essential in order to reach site.

Process Engineer role:
- Provide project management functions consistent with delivery of the project CAPEX plan.
- Detailed planning of project activities, understanding of project risk and planning mitigation for identified risk.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications and change requests.
- Liaise with Process Engineers and Vendors to produce detailed budgets, drawings, specifications etc. in support of projects.
- Identify potential suppliers and contractors and verify their suitability and capabilities.
- Ensure adequate induction and supervision of contractors including the production of comprehensive Permit to Work documentation.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- An Engineering or Project Management Degree or equivalent.
- Experience working within a heavy manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with MS Project or other planning software.
- Experience with 2-D and 3-D drawing and modelling software.
