Area Sales Manager - Pumps / Motors / Gears.

I am recruiting for a full time Area Sales Manager to operate in and around the Nottingham area. The primary functions include increasing the customer base and developing strong business relationships, within the target geographical region.

Product knowledge and sales experience of the following is essential.
Pumps / Motors / Gears and Power Transmissions / Bearings
The Role
- To offer clients the full range of products and services provided.
- To develop, manage and maintain strong business relationships with all clients ensuring continued long term growth for the business.
- To utilise and maintain up to date customer records using the hardware, systems and software.
- To provide sales reports and forecasts & demonstrate the potential opportunities.
- To secure and direct enquiries, for products and services, to the most appropriate department and facilitate a quick response.
- You must have previous experience in selling products within the MRO product market - more specifically Pumps / Motors / Gears and Power Transmissions
- Be able to use own initiative. Thinking out side of the box to succeed.
- Must have the ability to overcome objections, negotiate successfully; secure orders and contracts.
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
- Salary £35k-£50k pending on experience
