Are you a recent geology, physical geography or geo focussed civil engineering graduate with an interest in ground investigation and contaminated land positions? A geotechnical consultancy based in Nottingham is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate to join their team on a huge variety of projects. With a huge range of site investigation projects to receive expert training on, this company offers an excellent first position for a graduate to develop their skills.

The graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. These include carrying out Phase 1 Desktop Studies, Phase 2 ground investigations, assisting with site walkovers, writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out soil and rock borehole logging and observing day to day tasks in contribution to training.

To be considered for this Gradate Geotechnical Engineer role you must:

• Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geography, civil engineering with a focus on geotechnics, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
• Hold a full UK Driving licence.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
• Live commutable to Nottingham.
• Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
• Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
