Job Summary: We are a growing company with a culture based on open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and we are looking for a finance manager to join our team. We need someone with exceptional accounting skills who can also oversee the many important financial functions of a growing business. They will be commercially aware, be able to provide financial analysis and guidance, and build relationships with all stakeholders. The successful candidate will enjoy hands-on work with daily accounting tasks, while also able to see the big picture. They will be comfortable working in an open-plan office environment with transparent performance objectives and results.

Responsibilities:

* Own the company’s accounting function, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and proactively reviewing profit margins.

* Oversee payroll, benefits, and taxes, meeting all statutory reporting requirements.

* Manage cash, including collections from customers, payments to vendors, and forecasting of cash flow.

* Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and able to support current activities and future growth.

* Provide financial analysis, reporting and guidance at business and departmental levels.

* Contribute to the development and execution of company strategy, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate.

* Experience within the manufacturing sector preferred.

* Fully or part qualified accountant with at least 5 years of accounting experience.
