We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join this vibrant school community.

Position Overview: As a Year 3 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower young learners, helping them to reach their full potential and succeed academically. Working within a collaborative team of educators, you will deliver engaging lessons, nurture positive relationships with students and parents, and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to the needs of Year 3 students.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
  • Assess student progress and attainment, providing timely feedback and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching approaches.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, fostering positive partnerships and maintaining regular dialogue about student progress and achievements.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably within a Year 3 setting.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, assessment frameworks, and best practices in primary education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to promoting the holistic development and well-being of every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
