Think Recruitment are working with an East Midlands based fit out contractor who specialise in retail projects. They require a Project Manager to join them
The Role
- Responsible for managing contracts of varying values
- Project locations across the UK
- A sound knowledge and understanding of JCT contracts, and demonstrable experience of running interior fit out works contracts is preferable
- Client facing role, including chairing of client/progress meetings
- Sound knowledge of programming & procurement of construction and fit-out projects
- Previous experience of management of construction and civils contracts is useful, though not essential
- Typically, the role will involve the management of multiple contracts concurrently, so the ability to manage time efficiently is critical
- On occassions, this role will also provide support to the pre-construction team in the compilation of bids - e.g., input into the programming & methodology of projects + attendance at post-tender interviews/client meetings
- Attend/chair progress meetings
- Compilation of contractor's report
- Health & Safety on site
- Procurement of site materials & labour resources
The Person
- Experience of management of retail fit out projects
- Trade qualified background
- Relevant qualifications ie, Trade Certificates, Site Management, First Aid Asbestos Awareness
